The Allen-Bradley 1794-ACN15 is a Flex I/O communication adapter that brings ControlNet connectivity to distributed I/O systems. As a redundant media ControlNet adapter, it lets a single rack of Flex I/O modules exchange data with a ControlNet network at a communication rate of 5 Mbps. One adapter supports up to eight (8) Flex I/O modules, so you can build a compact, networked I/O island without a separate communication module for every slice.

This module belongs to the 1794 Flex I/O product family from Allen-Bradley.
